Lazy Alpha
In the overall gaming process Lazy Alpha NFTs provide their holders with the new Lazy Staff NFT (team staff) minting opportunities and an ability to create their own Unions.
Lazy Alpha consists of 1010 NFTs. Initially supply was 1000 NFT, but on the 14th of December 2022 we held a poll among the Lazy Alpha holders in order to decide whether to run an additional mint of 1% of the NFTs to Lazy Alpha collection as an additional fundraising.
Additionally minted NFTs got «Mythic» rarity and were sold through giveaways or auctions. All of the collected SOL were transferred into stable coins and spent on further game development
Rarity
In terms of Utility, the Lazy Alpha rarity affects the so-called breeding - the process of using two Lazy Alphas in order to get a new Lazy Staff.

Breeding
Two Lazy Alpha can participate in the so-called breeding to create new Lazy Staff game NFT. After the breeding, the «parent» Lazy Alpha NFTs will get a restriction (cooldown) on participation in new breedings for the next 72 hours. The cooldown will be applied explicitly to the involved NFTs. It means that you can immediately use two other Lazy Alphas for a new breeding if their cooldown is already over.
For each breeding, which means a mint of the new Lazy Staff NFTs, you have to pay a certain amount of game resources - gems.
Mint fee (in number of gems) increases after each new breeding, and then slowly decays to the default value.
The base breeding fee depends on the rarity of the Lazy Alpha parent NFTs involved in the breeding process.

The rarity of the Lazy Staff NFT bred depends on the rarity of its «parents» — Lazy Alpha NFTs used for the breeding. Below it is listed how the parents influence on the rarity of the future Lazy Staff NFT, as well as the number of gems that are required for breeding:
